All of Willow Camp | Luxury Vacation Rentals Managed by Top Short-Term Rental Experts

Willow Camp Estate and Gardens is one of California's most storied coastal retreats — a private compound on Highway 1 in Stinson Beach with over a century of art, music, and history woven into its walls.

Built in 1917 by architect Albert Lansburgh — the visionary behind the SF War Memorial Opera House and the Shrine Auditorium — the estate has welcomed luminaries including Robert Oppenheimer, Salvador Dalí, Alan Watts, and Muriel Rukeyser. The Carriage House was redesigned by architect Rudolph Schindler; the gardens were originally designed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. The historic Bechstein grand piano in the living room's inglenook has been at the heart of the home for nearly a century.

Reserve the full estate — The Lodge (sleeps 14) and The Carriage House (sleeps 6) — to accommodate up to 20 guests across 10 bedrooms, 15 beds, and 10 private bathrooms. The lush garden grounds, Bagus pavilion, and direct beach access make it equally suited for weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions, and intimate milestone gatherings.

Enrich your stay with on-site yoga, private sauna rental, a piano concert by the fire, or arrange surf lessons, West Marin food tours, and wildlife safaris through our curated experience partners.

Please note: events including weddings and amplified music are subject to event fees and prior approval.
